Since leaving
Art College, Neill has been on painting trips to Spain, Portugal,
France, Turkey, Paxos, Lindos, Leros, Crete and Majorca and
has always worked in front of the subject no matter what the
weather!
Neill has
held exhibitions abroad at Schloss Rheda, near Essen and at
Langueux, in Brittany. In the UK, he has exhibited at Kensington
High Street, Highbury Islington, St. Martins Lane, Theatre Royal
Plymouth, Truro City Museum, Falmouth Gallery, Newlyn Orion
Gallery, Oxford and Kings School in Worcster. Neill currently
has work exhibited at galleries in Stow-on-the-Wold and Burford
in the Cotswolds. He also has work in Rock and Veryan in Cornwall.
For five years, Neill ran a professional studio
in North Cornwall, near Polzeath and at Chapel Amble, with the
main clientele from London. After marrying Lucy, he moved to
Droitwich in 2001. He has taught at several local schools as
artist in Residence and for the N.E.W College in Bromsgrove.
His most recent painting commision has been for Worcester County
Council of the late Prime Minister, Sir Stanley Baldwin and
is on permanent show at County Hall.
