David Pearce is an internationally acclaimed Cornish artist who has lived in the Padstow area for most of his life.

His work combines abstract colour and rythym with the innocence of childlike imagery to produce sophisticated works of great beauty. His work can be seen in a number of prestigious galleries including The Marion Harris Gallery, Park Avenue, New York, and Waterhouse and Dodd, Cork Street, London.

In 2003 three of his works were included in "The unique world of the naive artist" - an exhibition held by Anthony Petullo (The Milwaukee Art Museum) that examined forty works by some of the worlds most renowned naive artists
