| Allan's style of painting has been influenced by his many experiences of travel, although the varying light and landscapes of the Cornish coast and villages continue to inspire him. Allan has run his own Art Gallery in Rock since 2003 and many of his current pieces concentrate on the local areas of Rock, Daymer Bay, Greenaway, Polzeath and Port Isaac.
